It was in honor of our fourth year that we created this website to keep you informed and keep the memory of Alice alive.
We invite you to spend a few minutes viewing some of the various links we have created, including pictures from past events, the web-sites of the various companies that have donated items, and various breast cancer web-sites.
We hope you enjoy our web-site and find it both educational and useful, and empowers you to take a stand and/or make an effort to help put an end to this horrific disease.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions, feel free to e-mail

Thanks to our many friends, families, co-workers, as well as, the individuals and companies that have generously donated items for us to use in the auctions and raffles. We have raised over $61,000 for breast cancer research.
Without your help over the past nine years, none of this would have been possible. Thank You!

This site is dedicated to the loving memory of Alice Mazzola, and this was her journey. After discovering a lump in her breast, Alice was diagnosed with Breast Cancer that had also spread to her lymph system. The cancer was treated aggressively by performing a mastectomy and the removal of lymph nodes under the arm.

The next phase of her treatment was chemotherapy. The good news was that the cancer went into remission, but her remission lasted not even 5 years.
In 1999, Alice started experiencing pain in her back. The doctors believed that she may have been suffering from muscle spasms or possibly gall bladder disease. However, after the pain persisted, she was sent for a full body scan, and to her dismay, the doctors discovered multiple tumors along her spine.
